We are grateful you want to know more about Springfield Bible Church, and we hope that you will be encouraged by your visit with us. It can be intimidating visiting a church for the first time. We hope the following information might answer a few of your questions and make your first visit easier!
WORSHIP SERVICE 8:30 am
WORSHIP SERVICE 10 am
Each of our worship services is designed with the same structure and goals in mind. We hope this time of corporate worship to be meaningful as we worship the one true God and exalt the Risen Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. During our services we sing praises to the Lord (usually through a traditional style of music, i.e. hymns). We also pray together corporately and partake of the Lord's Supper each week, remembering the finished work of Christ on the cross, "proclaiming the Lord's death until He comes" (1 Corinthians 11:26). After the Lord's Supper, we examine God's Word together as a sermon is preached from a particular passage in the Bible. Each week we hope the Lord uses these worship services to build His Church and to make and build disciples in His kingdom.
- Please dress in whatever clothes that are comfortable to you. You will see folks wearing jackets & ties, cowboy boots & jeans, and shorts & sandals. We hope our focus is more upon the Lord and the condition of our hearts than the style of clothes that we wear.
- Childcare: Unfortunately we are not offering childcare at either of our services due to the unusual COVID-19 circumstances. However, we look forward to when we will again provide Nursery care for children up to age 3 and Children's Church for children 4 – 10 years of age.
- Bring your Bible. We will be digging into God's Word during each service. If you don't have a Bible, please use one of the Bibles located in our pews that morning. Also please let one of our pastors know that you need a Bible. The church would be thrilled to give you a Bible of your own. God's Word is powerful, and we want you in it!
God bless you!
