church leadership

As the Apostle Paul states, "Jesus Christ is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also Head of the body, the church..." (Colossians 1:17–18). Peter also identifies Christ as the "Chief Shepherd" over "the flock of God" (1 Peter 5:2 & 4).

At Springfield Bible Church we unashamedly submit to the authority of Jesus Christ. As a part of His church we seek to follow the Biblical example of local churches being faithfully governed and managed by elders and deacons.
