  • david and Karen anderson

    minnesota/north & south dakota, formerly in east asia

    Dave and Karen have served with the Navigators for over 25 years. While overseas (for 26 years), the Andersons worked together in training up leaders in the body of Christ in East Asia. Karen recently directed an Asian Pacific regional women's conference in which 80 young women from 15 different countries met in Indoneisa. Currently, the Andersons live in Minnesota where they continue their work with the Navigators. At this season in their ministry, they work with college students and leaders in the Navigator's Upper Midwest Region. Specifically, Dave and Karen work to mentor, encourage, and shepherd young collegiate staff as they work on campuses in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.   • MARK & KAREN HEDINGER

    portland, oregon

    Mark and Karen served nearly 23 years as Crossworld missionaries and have spent the past few years serving at WorldView, specifically the Institute for International Christian Communication in Portland, OR. Mark is currently the Executive Director of Worldview. His roles include administrative leadership and teaching, with a teaching emphasis on missionary preparation in both English and Spanish. Karen serves part-time at Western Seminary as Administrative Assistant for the Department of Intercultural Studies while also serving part time as a Training Faculty member of WorldView. Her WorldView roles include teaching in missionary preparation activities in both English and Spanish. She is the platform administrator for Worldview's online teaching, occasional cook for the international community who live at the WorldView Center, and active in mentoring in the online program that WorldView provides. Recently, Mark and Karen went to Panama where they helped train missionaries being sent from Panama to North Africa, Central Asia, and South Asia.   • Peggy mcCracken

    Christian Embassy, Washington D.C.

    Peggy McCracken serves with Campus Crusade (CRU)/Christian Embassy in Washington D.C. Peggy ministers with women ambassadors and wives of ambassadors in the diplomatic community. She also ministers on Capitol Hill with women who are chiefs of staff to Members of Congress. She has been with Campus Crusade since 1969, serving six years in East Africa. Before joining Campus Crusade, she worked as a nurse. Peggy began her ministry with Christian Embassy in 1981.     Florida

    David and Cheryl have served through The Navigators for over 30 years. The Morris' served a number of years in West Africa and are currently serving the body of Christ in Florida (USA). David and Cheryl are currently working with the IT Department in developing an updated and more robust website that will serve to connect laborers from all of The Navigator ministries. The Morris' have a passion to multiply disciples by connecting those who are "trained" and "want to be trained" laborers in cities and communities throughout the United States.   • JEFF & MARILEE NELSON

    Guatemala

    Jeff and Marilee serve through OC International Ministries in Gautemala. Since OC focuses on church health, growth and multiplication, the Nelsons assist by coming alongside the church in this region and equip leaders. Jeff and Marilee help teach at Berea (The Bible Institute) where Marilee spends much of her time ministering to the women students. Jeff and Marilee are walking with Christian leaders in their discovery of biblically based approaches to equip their congregations to disciple their nation. One specific way in which the Nelsons are equipping the Guatemalan Christian leaders is to use oral Bible learning principles for training others through the "Simply the Story" workshops.   • CHAD & JULIE REESER

    Chad and Julie have served through World Venture in Spain for a number of years and are the proud parents of three boys! Chad and Julie are engaged in multi-generational family ministry in the Madrid area. Chad teaches a small group Bible study, and they both are actively involved in serving at a local protestant, evangelical church. Chad and Julie are building relationships in their neighborhood and becoming more and more a part of the Spanish culture. They are excited to see how the Lord will use them in the days ahead as their family is growing.  Chad was born and raised in New Berlin, IL and attended Springfield Bible Church through high school. After high school Chad attended Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL) where he met and married Julie. After Moody the Reesers moved to Dallas, TX where Chad received his Master of Theology (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary. After DTS, the Reesers raised support and moved to Spain.   • TIM & JANET WELCH

    Denver, COlorado & cote d'ivoire (west africa)

    Tim and Janet have served through SIM in Cote d'Ivoire for nearly 30 years. They are currently residing in the Denver, CO area while still ministering through SIM.  Pray for Tim as he continues to be SIM’s “Ministry Point Person for Literature.” Pray for him as he consults on a new “Pastor’s Book Set” conference in Russian and also seeks to find a reference book translated into French for the upcoming conference in French-speaking Africa. Pray for Janet as she continues to be in contact with ministry in Africa, and explores several new opportunities here. Pray also for some additional financial support as they serve here and plan to return to Africa several months a year. Tim's late father, Bob Welch was a  longstanding member of Springfield Bible Church, and Tim's brother, Stan Welch, currently is a longstanding member of our church as well .
